Lecturing

Say the true thing simply.

The lecture hall is where the operating and the research get stress-tested — a room of students won't let a fuzzy idea slide. I teach growth, marketing and pricing at IU International University, and it's where the thinking gets clear.

Why teach

The clarity test.

Teaching wasn't a detour. A boardroom will forgive a vague slide; twelve students on a Monday morning will not. If I can't make an idea land with someone who owes me nothing, I don't understand it well enough yet.

So the lecture hall does something the day job can't — it strips the jargon out. What survives, growth, pricing, the mechanics of demand, is the part that's actually true, said plainly enough to use.

It also closes the loop: the operating gives me something real to teach, the research gives it rigour, and teaching sends both back out clearer than they came in.

If an idea can't survive a lecture hall, it isn't ready.
